Why not be a Volunteer
A mesage from Terry Kendal our group Chair.We the Barnsley and District Branch of Parkinsons Uk is on the hunt for Volunteers. We operate out of the Emmanuel Methodist Church on Huddersfield Road, Barnsley and support people with Parkinsons and their families. We are now on the lookout for people who can help us throughout the year. Our Group prides itself on being very active. In order to continue our full program of events for members, we have to continually raise funds. This involves for example holding collection days and organising awareness stands in the town centre or functions like The Penistone Show. Could you or someone you know help us to plan and run our activities or assist in fund raising We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team of volunteers. This is a heartfelt plea to our lovely members to help us whenever possible to help us with our endeavours.
